Our Centre provides a full range of endoscopy services in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Patients undergoing endoscopy procedures will be intensively monitored by our doctors and staff. Sedation can be arranged with our experienced anaesthesiologists to minimise any discomfort that might be encountered during the procedure. I. Respiratory System Bronchoscopy Bronchoscopy is performed to examine the mucosal surface of the airways for abnormalities and visualise the causes of airway obstruction. It is useful for the diagnosis of:
II. We also provide the following services. Oesophageal Manometry Oesophageal Manometry is a test that provides information regarding the muscle function of the upper and lower oesophageal sphincters as well as peristalsis. Common indications are dysphagia, non-specific chest pain. 24-Hour PH study 24-hour PH study measures acid exposure in the oesophagus over a 24-hour period. This test can accurately measure whether gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is present. Anorectal Manometry Anorectal Manometry is a test performed to evaluate patients with constipation and/or fecal incontinence. This test measures the pressure of the anal sphincter muscles, the sensation in the rectum, and the neural reflexes that are needed for normal bowel movement. III. Open Access Endoscopy Services for Medical Practitioners Medical practitioners are welcome to refer their patients for endoscopy services.
