The Clinical Trials Centre of Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital (HKSH) was accredited by National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) after a diligent inspection by NMPA and Department of Health of Hong Kong in April 2019. HKSH Clinical Trials Centre, being the fourth NMPA-accredited centre and the first centre established by a private hospital in Hong Kong, has been acknowledged for fulfilling the requirements of NMPA and that the clinical data of the Oncology specialty of Comprehensive Oncology Centre will be acceptable for new drug assessments.
The DH and NMPA delegation visited the Pharmacy, Comprehensive Oncology Centre (COC), Medical Physics and Research Department,
Department of Pathology and other service units in the Hospital during the tour on 26 April 2019.
