Department of Anaesthesiology麻醉科医生专为病人在手术室及其他部门治疗期间提供麻醉及疼痛治疗之服务。麻醉服务能有效舒缓病人在手术或其他治疗期间之不适，并减低过程之风险。本部汇聚经验丰富的麻醉科专科医生，矢志提供最优质丶最安全的麻醉服务。

专业服务

手术室内
本部门主要为下列专科提供手术麻醉服务：心肺科丶牙科丶耳鼻喉科丶外科丶神经外科丶妇产科丶眼科丶骨科丶小儿外科丶整形外科及泌尿科

本部门采用先进监察仪器，在手术时密切监视病人的状况。手术後病人在复苏室，继续接受观察，待麻醉药力清退，病人苏醒後，才安全将病人送返病房。


手术室外
本部门亦为下列中心提供麻醉医疗服务：眼科手术中心丶内镜中心丶心导管及介入治疗中心丶体外受孕中心丶整形外科中心（日间手术中心）丶诊断及介入放射部以及放射诊断部。

服务旨在确保病人在接受医疗或若干复杂程序期间感到舒适及安全。


为即将分娩的孕妇作硬脊膜外腔止痛术
硬脊膜外腔止痛术能舒缓孕妇分娩时的痛楚。无痛分娩有助减低孕妇分娩时的恐惧，并让她们在分娩初期得以休息，保留力气，帮助达致顺产。
