Founded in 2004, the Cardiology Centre and Cardiac Catheterization & Intervention Centre have been providing patient-centred cardiovascular care to the community. The team is committed to achieving service excellence while expanding the horizons of cardiovascular medicine through research and development as well as exchanges with local and overseas counterparts. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the centres, the 10^th Anniversary Oration and Dinner was held on 9 October 2014.  Professor Jeffrey J. Popma, Professor of Medicine of Harvard Medicine School, was invited to deliver a speech on “Interventional Cardiology Past, Present and Future” to share his experience and insights in interventional treatment of cardiac diseases.
