(30 October 2025, Hong Kong) HKSH Medical Group (HKSH), having installed Asia’s first PhotonCounting Computed Tomography Simulator (PCCT-Sim) in August 2025, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Siemens Healthineers, the world’s first innovator of photon-counting technology, at a ceremony held on 21 October 2025. This collaboration represents a shared vision to elevate medical imaging excellence and drive diagnostic and treatment precision for radiotherapy and proton therapy, ultimately transforming the future of major diseases’ care. It also establishes HKSH as the exclusive Siemens Healthineers Research Centre in Hong Kong for the groundbreaking nextgeneration imaging using photon-counting technology.
