(27 April 2009, Hong Kong) With the pursuit of “Quality in ServiceExcellence in Care”, ‧ Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital (HKSH) is committed to providing quality health care services to people in Hong Kong and all parts of the world. Not only do staff members of HKSH devote themselves to health care profession, but they also devote efforts to community services at leisure time. Over the years, they participated in activities such as Oxfam Trailwal ker, The Community Chest Walk for Millions, Run to Beijing Charity Marathon, Sichuan Earthquake Fundraising Campaign, flag days, just to name a few. To play a bigger role in corporate social responsibilit y, the HKSH Village Club initiated the establishment of Village Volunteers, a voluntary work group in April 2009, to organize community service activities and encourage participation among doctors and staff members of the Hospital.
