While one may not usually associate the words "luxurious" and "comfortable" with hospital stays, the new deluxe suite (36/F) and private rooms on (36/F and 37/F) give new meaning to the phrase "deluxe hospital accommodation"

With an extra spacious completely redesigned suite overlooking the expansive Happy Valley skyline, patients will feel at home as the suite on 36/F has its own sitting area, dining area, private washrooms and a companion bed. All amenities such as HDTVs, refrigerator, microwave oven are discretely and conveniently located for the convenient use of patients and their visitors. As we value the support from family and friends to aid a patients' recovery process, the homely suite allows the patient to stay close to their friends and relatives, replicating the caring environment at the patient's home.

Just like other private rooms on the same floor, the suite features are meticulously designed with patient convenience and safety in mind. Stainless steel handrails are installed inside the glass-panelled shower room as well as beside the lavatory to assist the patient's mobility. In case of an emergency, patients can pull the long orange cord inside the shower room to call for assistance from the on-duty nurses. The suite is also equipped with layers of remotely controllable curtains to ensure privacy and shield the suite from sunlight. Other facilities include an electronic safe and wardrobes, a bedside panel with built-in alarm clock, radio, nurse call and light controls. A touch screen control for washroom lights is installed by the main door with a trilingual user interface, i.e. Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), English and Japanese. Uninterrupted and instant access to broadband internet service, multimedia entertainment and hospital's information is offered at one's fingertip with the bedside monitor.
