Today the Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital ("HKSH") has jointly organized a symposium with the Hong Kong Society of Paediatric Dentistry ("HKSPD") on "Understanding Autistic Children with Loving Care". Speakers from various professions were invited to deliver presentations on topics such as the diagnosis and treatment of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), challenges for families with ASD children and dental healthcare among autistic children, with the aim of encouraging the public to lend care and support for autistic patients and families.
