(2 December 2023, Hong Kong) HKSH Medical Group (HKSH) today staged a grand opening ceremony of the HKSH Proton Therapy Centre (the Centre) to mark the inauguration of Hong Kong’s first proton therapy centre, bringing the most advanced precision treatment option with minimal side effects for cancer patients.

Officiating guests at the opening ceremony included Professor LO Chung-mau, Secretary for Health, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government; Dr. Walton LI, Chief Executive Officer of HKSH Medical Group and Medical Superintendent of Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital; Mr. Wyman LI, Chief Operating Officer of HKSH Medical Group and Director of Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital, and Dr. Yen-chow TSAO, Chief Clinical Officer of HKSH Medical Group and Deputy Medical Superintendent of Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital.
