Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital (HKSH) announces the introduction of Asia’s first EmbryoScope with Time-Lapse Imaging System. With EmbryoScope, the embryonic cell division can be monitored continuously without taking the culture dish out of the incubator during In vitro fertilisation (IVF), which could ensure no disturbance to the developing embryos and also to provide abundant information about the quality of the embryos for selection. EmbryoScope with time-lapse imaging system would provide data to the embryo database, in which this information will serve as a springboard for the next leap in fertility treatment.
