Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES)
Stimulate weakened muscles directly to help neural network relearning

Upper limb:
Stimulate hand muscle cyclically to open the hand, then grasp objects

Lower limb:
With sensor inside the shoe, stimulate lower leg muscle to clear off the foot during swing phase preventing fall


Challenging exercises


Pilates :
Patient control movement precisely to strengthen muscle and improve coordinating joint movement simultaneously

Balance exercises:
Using ceiling hoist to improve confidence in balance control and regain upright posture safely


Robotic Gait Training


According to American Heart Association guideline, it improve walking speed and endurance of stroke survivors
Benefit to patients who need major assistance in walking Significant improvement with body weight support system and external orthosis, Patient can tolerate more intensive training on treadmill

  • Before training, more than 80% stroke survivors need assistance in sitting and need manual assistance in walking
  • After training, more than 90% stroke survivors can walk independently, including outdoor, up/down stairs or slopes, access escalator.
