Paediatrics Physiotherapy
The physiotherapy center at HKSH offers assessment and short-term/long-term intervention to infant, children and adolescents from birth to 18 years of age. As a part of the multidisciplinary team we take a holistic approach and aim to maximize every child’s physical potential through individually tailored programmes, enhancing their personal needs in muscle strength, joint mobility, motor function, balance and coordination skills in a fun and creative ways.

Our paediatrics service includes conditions but not limited to:
Developmental delays and neurological conditions
Examples:
Our physiotherapy service provides standardized motor assessments and tailored interventions for infants to adolescents (fig.1 and fig.2)

The treatments may include the following:
- A home activity programme and advice on your child’s daily caring. You will be asked to perform it at home with your child (fig. 3 and fig. 4).

- Stretching and joint mobilisation exercises to manage any deformities/tightness and to maximize their full functions in long term (fig. 5).
